11: Toastmasters in a Digital Age with Kyle Hall

Watch Now!

Joining Jaymes on this episode of Catalytic Curiosity is Kyle Hall, an aspiring edutainer and keynote speaker

28 years ago, even though public speaking was part of Kyle Hall’s job, he came to a difficult realization… he was a mediocre speaker. Fortunately for Kyle, shortly after being forced to accept this reality, he was in the right place at the right time to see three top-notch communicators. He was “wowwed”! He asked them how one learns to do what they did. They all said, “Join Toastmasters.”

Mr. Hall joined Toastmasters. Since that time, he has:
– grown to be both a humorous and inspirational speaking, such that he placed 3rd in the 2003 World Championship of Public Speaking, and now leads workshops on humorous presenting
– gone from being a computer trainer to a consultant, to a project manager, a salesman and an entrepreneur
– more than doubled his income
– assisted organizations he cares about to survive and thrive in challenging times, by accepting leadership roles, training, and mentoring other leaders

In this episode, Jaymes and Kyle discuss the lifechanging impact of Toastmasters both in-person and online. We also explore how public speaking is a vital part of leadership, and how those skills are superskills that radically transform our entire lives.
